As we fight for economic equality, access to affordable health care, and a first-class education for all children, recent events remind us that we cannot achieve our goals as long as we suffer from systemic racism. As Martin Luther King, Jr., wrote, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

As a member of the Nevada Assembly, I will make sure we examine all of the ways in which racism undermines the right to equality, from policing to education, housing, employment, and health care, and I will do all I can to pass legislation that eliminates racial inequalities.
